Profile basics (the 5-minute fixes)
- Can a stranger tell what you do in 3 seconds? Your name field, bio line one, and profile photo should answer: who you help, what you do, where you are.
- Is there exactly one call to action? One link, one instruction. “DM us GROW” beats four different links.
- Is your contact info actually clickable? Phone, WhatsApp, email — test them all. (You’d be shocked how many agencies fail their own test here.)
- Do your highlights sell? Services, results, testimonials, price-range FAQ — not last year’s holiday.
- Consistent handle and branding everywhere? Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google — same name, same face.
Content health (where most brands fail)
- Posting rhythm: at least 4–5 posts per week, sustained for 90 days. Anything less and the algorithm forgets you.
- Hook check: watch your last 10 reels. Would you stop scrolling in the first 2 seconds?
- Format mix: reels for reach, carousels for saves, stories for trust. All three should exist.
- Face time: accounts where a real person talks to camera grow faster. Founders are the best salespeople.
- One job per post: educate, entertain, or convert — never all three at once.
Growth signals (the numbers that matter)
- Saves and shares — the algorithm’s favourite signals. Likes are vanity; saves are strategy.
- Profile visits → follows conversion — if people visit but don’t follow, your profile is leaking.
- Reply speed — enquiries answered within 1 hour convert several times better than next-day replies.
- Enquiries per month — the only metric your business actually banks. Track it weekly.
- Competitor gap — list 3 competitors and note what they post that you don’t. That gap is your roadmap.
Scored below 10/15? That’s normal — and fixable
